Enock Masaki Magack

Head of Digital Marketing. He is also the founder of Digitall Marketing Solutions and co-founder of Interflow Logistics Limited. A one-stop destination for enhancing both corporate and individual online branding and one that redefines the Kenyan and African narrative through unique adventures that unveil the untold stories of Africa and Kenya incredible destinations respectively. He currently works as the Marketing Communications Manager for Lyle Kenya. He holds a master’s degree in communication studies focusing on Digital Communication from the United States University of Africa (2020) and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from St. Paul’s University (2016) both in Nairobi, Kenya. He has served as a bank executive customer sales consultant in one of the leading banks in Kenya- Stanbic Bank where he was involved in providing solutions to customers on the bank’s digital platforms-internet and mobile banking, acquisition, and retention. He was also privileged to serve as the Deputy Head of Radio and Head of Productions at USIU Radio 99.9FM for two years.

At the same time, he hosted the Morning Madness Show every day from 8-10 am and Sports Zone on Monday and Saturday from 3-5 pm. He also volunteers to do vox-pops for the leading radio station in Kenya – Citizen Radio for a show that is aired from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm where he leads several discussions centering on digital experiences and youth user experiences. He has also been involved in the Citizen TV (the leading national television in Kenya) shows on Friday mornings as a panelist on digital trends, Nation Tv ‘Gumzo la Sato’ on family-related issues, and others. He has presented three papers at three international conferences among other local ones. One, International Communication Association (ICA) 73rd Annual International Communication Association Conference, Reclaiming Authenticity in Communication, held on 25-29 May 2023 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto, Ontario, Canada (123 Queen St W, Toronto, ON M5H 2M9). Topic: The uses and authenticity of emoticons in interpersonal communication during formal academia discourses by University Students in Kenya. Two, the just concluded International Communication Association in Africa Regional Conference in Cape town, South Africa.

Three, USA-China relations in Africa during the Third ASAA Biennial International Conference held at USIU-A in 2019 and four on Uses and Gratifications of LinkedIn by its users in Nairobi County at the 2nd International Symposium on social media at USIU-Africa in November of 2020. His work has been published in the Journal of Communication & Media Research -- released on October 2021. His research interests lie in the areas of digital communication, media studies, culture, and strategic communication. He has participated in discussions on social media usage by the youth and startup businesses in different shows on leading Television stations KTN, CITIZEN & NTV relate.
